  • Courtney Richardson

I am so fortunate to be able to wake up every day and do what I love. I have been coaching for over 28 years and can’t imagine doing anything else. I was a Novice Ladies Regional competitor who had to change directions after multiple injuries. I was still able to continue testing, becoming a double Gold Test Medalist in MIF and Dance and completing many International Dances. Professionally, I have been a Skating director of Flyers Skate Zone, developed Synchronized Skating programs at The Skating Club of Wilmington and The Skatium. And have taken most of my student through Senior/Gold test levels in Freestyle, MIF, and Dance. Also, managing many competitively at these levels. My main focus is to help each student achieve their personal goals. I work with all ages, levels and disciplines. I firmly believe everyone’s skating journey and path is unique and enjoy guiding my students through them. I believe a strong technical foundation will support any skater to their fullest potential. Always educating, supporting, and motivating my students to give them the most positive experience. And passing on my passion and love for the sport.
I specialize in Freestyle, Moves in the Field, Dance, and Choreography. I also coach Synchronized Skating and Hockey.
